Our Sunday Rituals

Sunday is a big day of rituals for us these days. We always incorporate the local Farmer's market and it is something I personally look forward to all week long!

Kaelyn always enjoys the playground at the farmer's market - and getting to play with all the other kids.

We also have to spend some time in the garden. This time of year, of course, we have planting to do as well as keeping the seedlings freshly watered each day.

Today, however, was a bigger day. Mommy planted some new seeds, daddy put in the irrigation system...

and Kaelyn helped to plant our new citrus trees. Sadly, our friends Christina, Steve and Remington are moving across the country. We will miss them terribly and thanks to our inheritance of their naval orange, lime, and lemon trees that couldn't make the trip, we will think of them every day.

Here is an example of all the fun new tricks Kaelyn has learned this week. She also has figured out how to UNLOCK and OPEN the sliding glass door. A whole new level of child proofing. Do they even make contraptions for sliding doors???
