Summerhome

Don't be confused by this post subject. No no - we are not going away to a summer home. Rather our home is a summerhome for everyone else! Our first of many summer visitors arrived last week. Marlene, Aaron and Samantha. I will post more photos later but for now, I had to post this cute one of Samantha and Kaelyn playing the piano together. Kaelyn always loves when I play and wants to come sit next to me. So it is really cute to watch her sit by Samantha while Samantha plays! Hopefully hearing Samantha's tunes throughout our house is a precurser to Kaelyn's future years on the strings!

Kaelyn just loves house guests. She made nicknames for everyone - Mee Mee, A-Guy and Si Si (we are still working on Samantha). Today Auntie Mee Mee and A-Guy had to leave - and after yelling for "mommeee" a few times this morning when she woke up she started to yell for "Mee Mee." It broke my heart to have to tell her that mommy dropped them off at the airport before dawn this morning. She is still talking to Samantha and I about them. Lucky her, Samantha will be here for almost 5 weeks!

I also had to post Kaelyn's newest trick. She still comes up with a new one every single day. She can now reach up and see IN to the drawers. Her favorite is the spice drawer. Why, you ask? BECAUSE SHE CAN UNSCREW THE SPICE JARS (and pour the spices everywhere). Are you kidding me???? Tell me this is normal. Tell me all kids her age can unscrew the top off of a jar.
