Kaelyn has been standing a lot lately. No signs of walking yet - but lots of up and downs! Especially with her toy baskeets and in her playpen and crib. She's always standing in her crib waiting for us to come get her out! Oh - and she is saying mama a lot lately. When Stacy was here and daddy was away, she stopped saying dadada and was saying mamama a lot. But on the 3rd day (July 30th), when I went in to get her in the morning, I opened the door and she said "MOM". Clear as day. Nothing else. Just MOM. It was wonderful!
This week Kaelyn has been making this face alot. It's when she's super happy. No sound comes out, just this big open mouth - which seems larger than a smile. It's too cute. Here she is playing with a musical toy, so what you can't see is that she's shaking her booty at the same time. She absolutely loves to dance. Whenever we go anywhere and hear music, she is sure to bounce up and down.
