I'm C.U.T.E.

Here I am hanging out with dad on the couch...just looking cute cuz I am!

Here I am ready to eat some food. I love eating and really like my high chair. I get to eat when the big people eat!

We just got a music set with a tamborine, cymbals, a triangle, and these really neat moraccas (sp??). I like shaking them, but I also like licking them like a big, giant popsicle! Occasionally I even bonk myself in the head!

A visit from Auntie Jen and my cousins

Auntie Jen and Stephanie and Carly came down for a visit while on their spring break. We had fun hanging out. They gave mommy a good reprieve and even enjoyed some sunshine! It's a good thing they were here to keep her mind off of her teething. She was a little uncomfortable when they arrived but things got better after she realized it was "girl time!"

Sense of humor

Auntie Nancy keeps talking about Kaelyn's great sense of humor. We're not sure who's cracking the jokes around here, but we know who's smiling!!

We are all anxiously awaiting our first visit from the Easter Bunny!!

Happy Days!

Kaelyn loves eating - and she really enjoys time in her high chair. She now has her very own spoon to play with while she eats. Otherwise she tries to grab the spoon we're feeding her with. There isn't a food she doesn't like yet. Sweet potatoes made her spit up quite a bit so we're staying away from them. She really was ready to eat when we started 2 weeks ago. Within three days she was opening her mouth in anticipation of the next bite. It's really cute. When we first put her in the high chair we tried it leaning back but she wanted to sit up straight right away. She is sure to let us know that she wants to be a "big girl" as much as she can! No holding her back, that's for sure. Hmmm...who does she take after? She may have daddy's eyes...but her personality - well....

This weekend we were lucky enough to have a visit from cousin Delilah and David. We made sure they had some special time with Kaelyn and went out to dinner while they put her to bed. They did a fantastic job and Kaelyn really enjoyed the visit!

Yes - even David did his time with the babe. She really liked his dark hair and was very intrigued by his mustache!

Little Laundry Helper

Kaelyn had a rough day yesterday - just wasn't happy unless she was watching me do something or being held. So out to the laundry machine we went. She was quite happy in this new environment. Kept her interested through all three loads!

A day at the beach!

We finally got to spend some fun time at the beach on a nice 70+ degree day. Kaelyn had a blast. Her feet were swinging, she was giggling -she can't wait to get in the water! Next time we'll put the bathing suit on!

We've been having such nice weather we're really getting to break in our cute little bonnet! We've been spending all kinds of time outside - working on our tan! And Kaelyn can't say enough fun stuff about her time outdoors! Talking and smiling and goofing around ;-)
